We’re committed to making things easier for businesses. Via our state-of-the-art VoIP phone system, it is already possible to download voicemail audio direct to a computer desktop via email or online Dashboard. However, the team at Yay.com recognise importance for businesses to be able to check voicemail messages at speed and at comfort.
Instant voicemail transcription via Cloud PBX
We have all been there, sitting through a long, slightly garbled voicemail, waiting for a kernel of information, only to miss it when it comes up. The voicemail transcription option in our Cloud PBX, accurately and speedily transcribes the contents of a voicemail message, which is then sent directly to the email mailbox.
Transcribed voicemail messages mean more productivity
So, now it’s even easier to find that bit of information that you were searching for, such as the name of the person leaving the message or the phone number that they want to be contacted on. This also means that there's more time to check off other important tasks sitting on your to-do list!
This automatic feature is sure to be a useful time-saver, especially for busy businesses that receive a large volume of messages.
While this is currently still an experimental feature, the voicemail transcription option is currently free to use. This feature can be easily turned on per mailbox via the Mailbox section in the Yay.com customer Dashboard.
