How can I set up BLF on a Polycom?

BLF functionality is tremendously useful for our customers as they are able to view the availability of internal extensions and speed dial them from compatible phones.

The following instructions will help you set your BLF on a Polycom phone.

To begin please find the IP Address on your phone by heading to - Circle Button / Home > Settings > Network > TCP / IP Parameters … (Your IP address will usually begin 192.168...)

Please enter this IP address into your web browser (if it does not load please add https:// at the start)

From here please enter your password, by default it is either 123 or 456.

You will then need to please head to Utilities > Line Key Configuration > add Line Key Function.

Enter a Label - say your colleague's name and the address should be extensionnumber@talk.yay.com (e.g. 1001@talk.yay.com) and keep the title as normal.

Once this is added to the Key Line Config box you can move the order of the BLF’s displaying on your Polycom screen. Also, remember to click ‘save’!
