What is the Early Access Period?

For anyone serious about registering a .APP domain, the Early Access Period (EAP) is the launch phase in which to place your Pre-Order. This launch period opens 7 days prior to the General Registration launch, and is the first opportunity for those without a trademark to register a popular or sought-after domain name.

During EAP an additional one-time registration fee will be added onto the registration price for all .APP domains. This one-time additional fee decreases during each day of the Early Access Period. View the chart below to see this launch phase illustrated.

Early registrations are encouraged during this period as they are rewarded with a higher chance of successfully getting the domain you want. Take a gamble and wait it out or secure a popular .APP domain at the first opportunity, the choice is yours.

Domains purchased during the Early Access Period will renew at the purchase price minus the Early Access Period fee.
