If you prefer to have your business come to you, you’ll be comfortably served by the 100 free minutes per month you’ll get for outbound calls on our Starting Out plan. You’ll also be gifted one free phone number for use with your account and can always purchase more if necessary. These can be regional, non-regional or even international, so no matter your zone of operation, you can start making and receiving calls immediately with a number your customers will trust.

What if I already own a phone number I like?

If you’d prefer to use a phone number you already own, that’s easily done. You’ll be able to present on outbound calls as any phone number that you already own via our alternative caller ID feature. You can receive incoming calls to a pre-existing number by either a call forward or by porting the number across to us.

You won’t have access to the business phone system features aimed at large corporations, such as IVR, dial-by-extension and call queuing. Nor will you get CRM integration, webhooks, or advanced account roles and permissions to control who can change what in your account settings. But then, as a small outfit, you shouldn’t need these features.

What features do I get?

Instead, you’ll have access to mobile, desktop and web VoIP apps, so you can take your business with you wherever you go, without the need for dedicated hardware.

Moreover, you’ll be able to make and receive calls in the highest quality audio as standard, with hold-music capabilities, unlimited voicemail storage and a rolling thirty days’ call recording history, available for playback and download at any time from your account. Inbound and internal calls are totally unlimited and you’ll also be able to do all the stuff you’d expect from a modern-day phone system; hold, transfer, mute calls and more with our powerful shortcodes.
